The Instagram API allows you to embed Instagram content on your website. This can be used to create an Instagram feed to add extra style to your website.
The Instagram feed can integrate the latest images on your website, keeping your website fresh with new content and keeping your users happy. Integrating social content in this way creates a seamless online experience for your users.
The website use CSS to create a four-column layout, which breaks down responsively on mobile. CSS is also used to create a visually appealing hover state on desktop, which also shows the number of likes and comments each post has.
The biography area shows the name of the account, profile image, number follower, number following and bio description.
The code can be copied and pasted, so that even beginner developers can use this tool. More experienced developers can also amend the code to suit their needs. For example, the number of images shown at one time can be edited very easily.
The Instagram API demo requires JQuery and Font Awesome. The Instagram account that pulls the data must be a public account - private accounts will not work.
HTML, CSS, JQuery, AJAX, JSON, API.
