Front-End Developer with an Eye for Design

I am a Web Developer specialising in front-end development. My strength is turning a design mockup into a dynamic, interactive web application. I enjoy making an app fun and engaging for users, whilst having strategic business goals in mind.

I graduated from Napier University in 2016 and also have a Diploma in UX Design. My agency and freelance experience mean I can offer your company a diverse skillset covering web development, digital design and SEO.

DK Web Solutions

Web Designer & Developer

DK Web Solutions is my freelance digital marketing agency. We provide a range of digital services – primarily web design, development and SEO – to small and medium-sized businesses.

Key Skills:
  • Manage all client communication including the creation of proposals, project briefs, user guides and invoices.
  • Create digital branding for start-ups including logo, social media, vehicles and uniforms.
  • Design and prototype using Adobe XD and Invision Studio.
  • Design and develop custom websites with WordPress, with specific business goals in mind.
  • Create web content to support national advertisement campaigns on STV.
  • Build an interactive application using external APIs e.g. a property application using the Zoopla API.
  • Build custom web tools to help digital professionals in the industries of web design, development and SEO.
  • Create SEO reports with Google Data Studio using data from Google Analytics 4.
  • Implement on-page and technical SEO optimisation for clients.
  • Provide technical support for clients such as hosting, domains and email.
  • Provide comprehensive CMS documentation guides and online training.

  • Turn designs into fully-functioning websites with a great user experience – primarily using WordPress.
  • Develop advanced CSS such as flex, grid and clamp.
  • Develop bespoke, complex forms to support the client’s digital strategy.
  • Work collaboratively with other developers using Git technology – in addition to working with digital designers and project managers.
  • Work under pressure and delivered projects within tight deadlines.
  • Use the Timber framework to build templates and page components.

  • Use front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap.

  • Support in the design and development of new websites that promote new music releases and tours of several well-known artists.
  • Use HTML, CSS and JavaScript to create responsive websites.
  • Use PHP and SQL for more complex content such as contact forms and user login areas.
  • Build integrations with 3rd-party APIs such as SoundCloud and Bandsintown.
  • Maintain web content using the in-house CMS.
  • Edit promotional photography using Adobe Photoshop.

They required a website that would give them an online home and showcase their range of bridal gowns and accessories.

They provide a range of Caribbean cocktails and food in addition to live music and masterclasses. The primary target audience is white-collar workers and tourists.
