DK Web Solutions is my digital agency and we provide a range of digital services, primarily web design and development as well as search engine optimisation. The project required a redesign of the existing website and an update to the company branding. The new website would streamline the services offered and showcase the previous projects that have been completed.
The website was rebranded to appeal to potential customers who own their own business. Small subtle interactions were added, such as parallax image effect, button rollovers and icon animations to add class and elegance to the website. Customised mockup images and illustrations were used to create a unique experience on the website.
As part of the rebrand, the logo was updated to use the font Ubuntu, which provides the brand with a contemporary feel. Also, the colour scheme was tweaked to use the new blue accent colour, which provides a calming and professional atmosphere and builds trust with the user.
The Services page was designed to showcase the services that are provided. The services were paired with a customised icon and description, so the user understands what the service is and how it is useful to them.
The Our Work page has several blog-style posts, which showcase the work that has been carried out in previous projects. The posts are image-heavy and present the work that has been completed and inspire potential customers.
The project was wireframed using Balsamiq and the project was designed using Sketch for Mac and synced with Invision. The project makes use of Cloudflare CDN as it allows page speed to be improved. The images were optimised using TwicPics.
Facebook and Instagram accounts were updated with the new branding and the necessary images were supplied such as logo, banner image and website launch device mockup images.
